Watch A Preview Of Seven Davis Jr’s New Release On Apron

A clip has been uploaded of Los Angeles based producer Seven Davis Jr’s forthcoming EP for Apron.

The Houston born, L.A. based producer/singer enjoyed a breakthrough year in 2013, in part due to the underground success of his ‘One’ EP on Jay Simon’s Must Have Records. The lead track off that EP drew people in with its combo of a timelessly soulful deep house groove and SDJR’s accomplished and smoky vox. Finding its place in several ‘Tune of the Year’ lists (including our own), SDJR is now ready to build on that release’s success with an EP for Funkineven’s Apron in March. Entitled ‘P.A.R.T.Y’, details are relatively sparse save for the video below, a black and white mish mash of footage sound-tracked by the greasy analogue House sounds of ‘FUN’. Sure to generate plenty of hype over the next 12 months, its a taster of whats to come from an artist very much on the up. Check it out.

The ‘P.A.R.T.Y’ EP is due to be released 3rd March on Apron Records
