The Tower Festival returns for 2018 with Optimo, Dan Shake, Tornado Wallace and more.

Now in its second year, the leftfield Lincolnshire festival that fuses architecture with cutting edge sound returns with a refreshingly versatile line up of both established and emerging talent from across the globe.

Nestled within an idyllic woodland clearing in the East Midlands, the intimate 700 capacity festival will play host to Optimo, Tornado Wallace, Dan Shake, Kenny White, DJ Bus Replacement Service and more over the closing weekend of June.

Collaborating with award-winning architecture firm Hesselbrand, the festival will create spaces that bring people together, with Hesselbrand’s founding director Jesper Henriksson commenting that they’ve “created an approach to festival design which attempts to refine the overall site layout and intensify multi-sensory experience. Using shock-absorbing dancefloors, polarised glass roofs and interactive light/video installation, we’re leaving no stone unturned.”

London Field’s Netil Radio will be the live stream partner, whilst proceedings will revolve around a historic 39 metre pillar that crowns the site, a memorial to the planting of 12.5 million trees. The Tower festival will continue this legacy by planting a tree for each ticket sold making it one of the most carbon negative and eco-friendly events in the UK.

The Tower festival will stage its second edition at Fonaby Top, in the East Midlands, on 29 June to 2 July. Head to their website for the full lineup and tickets, and watch their comical promo video below.
