From the company that brought you Printworks and Exhibition London, Broadwick Venues is putting together another venue on an industrial scale. The Drumsheds is comprised of 10 acres of outdoor festival space and 4 interlinked warehouses creating an indoor capacity of 10,000 people.
Situated in Enfield, London, the area is undergoing a £6bn renovation project. There will be a new station, Meridian Water, 20 minutes from Stratford and 15 minutes from Liverpool Street St. Due to the secluded area, the space can run late-night operating hours with louder music than in usual residential areas. It can also be hired out for company events, filming and automobile shows.
The venue is set to open properly on the 7th-8th of June with Field Day hosting their festival at The Drumsheds this year. Acts such as Skepta, Jorja Smith, Bonobo, Jungle, Modeselektor and The Black Madonna will be some of the first to christen the site.
