Club to club is back for 2019, and has enlisted the help of James Blake, Illian tape mainstay Skee Mask, and grime newcomer Slowthai amongst others. Now in its 19th year the Torino festival looks to push avante-garde pop and electronic music further than ever.
Spread across 5 days, the Italian club hopping festival also boasts a wealth of Italian-exclusive performances for 2019. Australian icon Flume will supply his own fusion of mainstream pop and weighty club music on the Friday night of the festival, whilst US exprimentalist Holly Herndon makes her Italy debut on the Thursday, showcasing her latest AI inspired venture, PROTO.
Along with Blake and Slowthai , the strong UK contingent includes London indie band Black Midi as well as duo RAP, who will showcase their gabber-laden soundscapes.
Previous editions of Club to Club have featured Aphex Twin, Kraftwerk, and Avalon Emerson, and with a host of artists still to be announced, 2019 is set to be as ground breaking as its predecessors.
Club to Club Festival takes place in Torino from 30th October to 3rd November 2019
