Tuck into two hours of frightening techno power from Blawan.
As part of their UK capital four week takeover, which saw live gigs, concept shows, club nights and talks include sessions with Aphex Twin, Hyperdub, Notting Hill Carnival and more, Red Bull’s inaugural London Music Festival also took to fabric for ‘Refractions‘ – a three-room takeover of the world-renowned club.
Packed with collaborations, b2b sets, and veterans and newcomers alike – grime, techno, drum and bass and UKG took to each of the three rooms with the likes of El-B, Impey, Sherelle, Addison Groove, Oneman and Special Request spread across the venue.
Over in Room one, Yorkshire techno don Jamie Roberts, aka Blawan, held things down, shedding his fierce industrial club weaponry upon ravers who could withstand the pressure.
It comes on the recent announcement of a debut album as Karenn, his hardware-focused project with Pariah, that we are able to share Blawan’s ‘On The Floor’ mix from the fabric session. Check out the 2 hours in full below.
