Pirate Prodigy returns for 2019 to find and nurture new British talent.
Pirate Studios are on the hunt for the UK’s up-and-coming talent across three categories: band, DJ and MC/vocalist. Continuing on their Pirate Prodigy programme that begun last year, the innovative tech brand that offers self-service 24-hour music studios has enlisted an expert panel of industry judges who will support, develop and promote the careers of three winners.
Across the programme, artists will receive one-to-one mentoring and masterclasses that cover every aspect needed to help launch a career from management to publishing, A&R to radio-play, song-writing to PR. On hand to offer guidance throughout the course are the likes of Mr Scruff, Jamz Supernova, Toddla T, Jammer, Oneman, Naina and Plastician.
Three winners will receive mentoring from industry figureheads, consultations with YouTube Music, play on-stage across all festivals Pirate hosts stages at, gain unlimited studio time for a year at any of Pirate Studios’ 350 spaces and more.
To enter, all you need to do is head to www.piratestudios.co.uk/prodigy and a link to some of your best work. These examples will be transferred to Soundcloud for the public vote. The top six artists will be then put to a combination of judges’ and public voting, with winners announced on May 21st.
