The London-based collective celebrate their second birthday in conjunction with UK charity Youth Music, with all proceeds on the night going to the charity.
comm•une – the creative collective, club night and Radar Radio show – will be celebrating their second birthday on 27 June at Dalston’s Dance Tunnel. The night will be held as a fundraiser for the Youth Music charity, which uses music to help disadvantaged children and young adults, and is the largest of its kind in the UK. All profits from the night (including entry fees, bar takings and donation buckets) will go to Youth Music, with all the artists on the night playing free of charge to ensure maximum proceeds go to the charity.
The night will be an exploration of home grown talent spinning global sounds, with a number of cutting edge artists from the UK featuring on the bill. Kicking off proceedings will be Transmission collective affiliate Olsen followed by one of our favourite artists to emerge from South London’s thriving music community, 22a founder and skilled saxophonist Tenderlonious. Joining them on the night will be the frighteningly versatile K15 (who we caught up with in a London pool hall last year) and Bristol House producer Hodge’s collaborative project alongside close friend Matthew Lambert – Outboxx.
Comm•une 2nd Birthday will be held 27 June at Dance Tunnel, London. Buy tickets here.
