The follow up to their widely acclaimed iPad app Ninja Jamm.
Continuing to prove a pioneering platform in the field of electronic music, leading independent record label Ninja Tune and founders Coldcut have unveiled Jamm Pro, the sequel to their highly popular music performance app Ninja Jamm.
Designed by Coldcut’s Matt Black, who recently helped build Ninja Tune’s first hardware FX unit, the Jamm pro works as a production and live performance app for iPad just like its predecessor, with key features like multi-track recording, loopstation functions, slice sequencers and multi-touch tip control. The creators have also recognised users of the Ninja Jamm’s most requested feature, as Jamm Pro now offers the ability to upload and modulate your own samples.
Speaking on the app, Jamm Pro designer and former programmer Matt Black states that the programme’s realisation has been a 25 year journey “… equal parts dreaming, scheming, designing, remixing, djing, producing, gigging and jamming. The aim: to create the ultimate electronic music instrument.”

Jamm Pro is priced at £19.99 and available for £9.99 over the app’s two-week launch.
