Needs (not-for-profit) event and label series team up with fellow non profit UN Women UK on their HeForShe Arts Week, London with an all day event using music and culture to encourage and explore the challenging topic of gender equality.
Taking place at London’s Oval space, panel discussions come from shesaidso, AIM (Association of Independent Music) and Mixcloud, whilst performances that follow into the evening will see Peggy Gou, Bobby Pleasure and a number special guests yet to be announced feature.
Other influential guests to appear throughout the event include Stevie Wonder representative Keith Harris, model and activist Munroe Bergdorf, BBC Radio 1 presenters B Traits, artist Fay Milton of Savages, Abbey Raymonde from Bella Union and more.
There will also be a vinyl and digital EP release, Needs004, in March to coincide with the event that will feature Peggy Gou and Juju & Jordash.
All funds raised from the event and release are to be donated to UN Women NC UK to support their work to achieve gender equality.
