The infamous Griessmuehle party Mothers Finest is christening it’s new label venture with a stacked compilation curated by the experienced hands of Hodge and Franklin De Costa. Having gained notoriety for there weekend long parties and huge line-ups, the party headed up by De Costa is launching the label’s first full release.
After releasing two mix tapes, the new release collects 15 tracks from a plethora of artists that represent the history of the party. Known names like Batu, Mosca and Laurel Halo are joined by newcomers including Karima F and Hyponik favourite Otik. In the labels words the tracks include, “ghostly ambient, cheeky breakbeats, melancholic d’n’b mutations, franatic UK workouts and twisted peak-time bangers”.
The full fifteen tracks will be available as a digital release from March 6th, while a selection of nine will be pressed on two seperate 12″s which should land on the 12th. Following Griessmuehle’s sad closure, the record launch will take place on February 22 at Griessmeuhle Im Exile, aka Alte Münze.
