Tempo Clash hits Corsica Studios with one of the heaviest lineups of the year so far.
The Tempo Clash collective returns to Corsica Studios on April 13th, adding to their consistently bar-raising string of events in and out of London over the past two years. Some might say they work at an unfair advantage however, boasting a membership of Om Unit, Blue Daisy, Kutmah, Kidkanevil and the late Ewan Robertson AKA Offshore.
This instalment is headlined by electronic alchemist Jamie Teasdale AKA Kuedo. Building on his much-lauded Planet Mu portfolio, the ex-Vex’d producer will deliver his equally hyped live A/V show, alongside MFO visual artist Lucy Benson. No less exciting is the live debut of Dahlia Black, the collaborative project from Blue Daisy and Hey!Zeus, who recently set the internet alight with their debut release ‘Fuck A Rap Song’. Black Acre tunesmith Loops Haunt closes the night.
Room 2 is a family affair with crew members Blue Daisy, Kutmah and Om Unit taking the reins, the latter going head to head in a jungle/drumfunk clash with Civil Music comrade Reso. Guesting is Italian innovator Memory 9, who featured on Om Unit’s recent ‘Pseudogeddon’ jungle/footwork compilation with ‘666’, a track which is available for stream and free download below. You can also check the stirring video for Dahlia Black’s ‘Fuck A Rap Song’. Head here to RSVP, and here for ticket purchase.
If you can’t wait until April for your Tempo Clash fix then head to Fabric next Friday 8th March, where the full crew will be touching down alongside the Hyperdub and Metalheadz camps. Full details here
