The LA producer returns to Stones Throw for his second studio album.
Glen Boothe, aka Knxwledge, LA’s favourite beat kid, is back with, 1988 – his second solo album for Stones Throw.
A follow up to his 2015 debut LP Hud Dreems, Knxwledge has been keeping prolifically busy between records – producing for rappers like Westside Gunn and Kendrick Lamar, recording as NxWorries alongside Anderson .Paak and releasing countless Bandcamp projects, most recently flipping Meek Mill freestyles with MEEK.VOL5.
Made up of 22 tracks that see the producer conjure up another intricate world of mesmerising loops and warm, lo-fi textures in signature Knxwledge fashion, listen to ‘Learn’ and ‘Howtokope’ ahead of 1988’s release below.
