The Nottingham festival locks in more heavyweights for an unmissable second edition.
Having recently announced their return into festival territory this May Bank Holiday with a killer musical programme that includes Craig Richards & Nicolas Lutz, Octo Octa, Instra:mental, Skee Mask and Josey Rebelle, Nottingham’s Wigflex Festival now adds further names to the ever-growing bill.
Radio 6’s Tom Ravenscroft, Erika de Casier (Live), AceMoMa, Konx Om Pax, Alec Falconer, Harry Wills, Rob Amboule and Ella Knight are all set to perform across the various venues on the Bank Holiday Friday, whilst Wigflex will pay homage to local heroes DiY Collective, inviting them to bring the antics of their infamous parties to the festival stage.
Metalheadz leader Goldie will also make his way to the East Midlands for a unique appearance, digging deep into his crates for a rare techno set that’ll be sure to connect the dots to his label’s legendary narrative.
Led by Lukas Wigflex, the Nottingham veteran who’s been the mastermind behind countless events for some 12 years, Wigflex City Festival 2020 promises to expand on its take over of over fifteen of the city’s independent venues last year with plans to host sessions in old Nottingham caves, car parks, basements, hidden streets and out of sight warehouses.
