The Hydra have announced that Floating Points will be giving an exclusive performance at Ministry of Sound on Sunday 26th November, making use of Dolby Atmos surround sound technology to present a unique and immersive sonic experience. The night, which also features Daphni, is part of The Hydra’s In Stereo series.
Ministry of Sound have partnered with Dolby to fit a 64-speaker, 22-channel sound system inside that artists and DJs can utilise to give a new dimension to their sound, giving them the ability to create “soundscapes with music that moves”. Floating Points has spent time in Dolby’s Atmos studio in London remastering his latest project ‘Ratio’ exclusively for this performance.
