Dance For Refuge is back helping refugees with two parties

The charitable collective, Dance For Refuge, was put together in 2015 by people who want to help the refugee situation in Calais. They’re still going strong today and are throwing two parties in London, Fold, and Manchester, The White Hotel, with a star studded lineup featuring, Solid Blake, Imogen, Liv Ayers, Nit Flei and Gwenan.

Both events are happening on the 8th of March and are in collaboration with artists, Liz Bending, Emily Eavis, Sofia Lucarelli, Caterina Bianchini who are making designer prints for the night. The proceeds go to Women For Refugee Women, who inspires their work. You can pick them up at the party at Fold.

There’s still a male monopoly in the music industry, so Native Instruments are also offering free workshops to introduce young women to producing. The course will be at beginner level and lead by producer and sound engineer Anna Disclaim on March 1st in Manchester’s School of Electronic Music, and London on March 8th at SSR Camden.
