This weekend just gone (1st – 2nd feb) saw the long-awaited official launch of brand new radio station, Clyde Built Radio. From the team behind Huntleys and Palmers, the new Glasgow station aims to follow in the footsteps of institutions such as NTS, Red Light Radio and The Lot by providing a platform through which local talent can shine.
The radio project follows on from Huntleys and Palmers’ Clyde Built compilation series, which shines a light on the Glasgow underground. The first weekend saw a variety of Glasgow talent, including local club veterans Optimo breaking in the new studio housed in the iconic Barras market.
At present they will be broadcasting during market hours on weekends only, so keep an ear out. This is definitely a project worth keeping an eye on and we can’t wait to hear more! You can listen online via there website here.
