Manami may not be a name familiar with a lot of people, but hidden amongst the lineups on some of the UK’s best curated club nights and festivals you’ll see her name holding up proceedings.
A classically trained pianist, the Tokyo-born Bristol-based DJ and producer is rubbing shoulders with some dance music’s most esteemed talents whilst building her own reputation as one to watch. The sheer versatility of the lineups she’s playing, is a testament to her style and promise – recent shows have seen her supporting French icon Jeremy Underground and Desert Sound Colony.
Upcoming shows aren’t slowing down Manami’s ascent either – Liverpool’s 24 Kitchen Street and Bristol’s Motion are amongst some of the venues that will be graced by her presence, as well as a milestone appearance at London’s very own club landmark, Printworks for Denis Sulta’s Sulta Selects party on November 9th.
We’re stoked to have her on board for this weeks Hyp mix, giving us a taste of the ‘Manami Sound’, with music coming from Robert Hood, Ronan, General Ludd, Konduku and more.

Gonno and Nick Hoppner – Start Trying
