Seasoned music journalist and critic Joe Muggs has been documenting the ever-changing face of electronic music and club culture for some time now, including interviewing and reviewing for publications like The Guardian, Wire and Mixmag, a stint as Boiler Room’s Editor-In-Chief, and most recently starting a new monthly electronic reviews column for Bandcamp Daily.
With a life revolved around music Muggs keeps busy in all departments, experienced in A&R, publicity, and notably responsible for compiling the excellent Adventures in Dubstep and Beyond and Grime 2.0 albums for Ministry of Sound and Big Dada a few years back.
Welcoming him to our mix series, Muggs glides through an hour of itchy club experiments that blend the worlds of grime, drum and bass, hip hop and beyond.
