London boys Jake and Connor are the pair that make These Evil Streets. Radar Radio residents for the past two years, the emerging duo put out the first of three new EPs, Beware Tha Freaks!! last July. Drifting from UK funky to Jersey club to ghetto house and beyond, Beware Tha Freaks!! puts fresh spins on a range of underground movements across the record, demonstrating These Evil Street’s equal knack for production and sonic experimentation to their abilities behind the decks.
Having formed in 2013 after meeting through the 100Faces collective, they’ve also released on Rushmore’s Trax Couture imprint and have ties to Classical Trax, Top Billin and PRJKTS.
Another example of new talent absorbing the wealth of genres that is underground club music right now and hungrily stirring the pot, These Evil Streets step up for Hyp 302 with a fiery mix of dubs, drum tracks, three deck mixes, and plenty of unheard Baltimore. Check below.
