Hyp 065: Tessela
Tweet
With his soon come broken house release ‘D Jane / Channel’ seeking out some of that hard-tweaked percussion work that comes from serious time studying the UK bass spectrum, the sounds of UK producer Tessela are creating quite a buzz in the early parts of 2012.
With the follow up to last years phenomenal ‘Slugger’ being curated by none other than Bristol bass pioneer Peverelist for his zeitgeist-defining imprint Punch Drunk, the mixture of techno, house, garage and bass in the work of this young producer is so on point right now, it’s no surprise his tracks are being picked up by the good and great of the current scene.
His Hyponik mix clocks in at almost 50 minutes of finely paced work, with tracks from across the current electronic spectrum, from Robert Hood and Locked Groove, to Randomer and Ramadanman. Stream below, or click here for the full download.
