The latest chapter in our Hyp series comes from one new producer we’re currently gushing about, Brixton-based house and real electro head Dean Bryce aka PhOtOmachine.
Having created a stir with his ‘Technicolour Ep’ early this year on Super Recordings, the London producer is set for big things with his explorations of deep, jackin’ grooves and next level fractured rave music.
He’s also more than accomplished when it comes to blending the finest selections from across the house spectrum, as his Hyp mix shows. Rolling out the 909’s and drawing for both timeless classics and unreleased material both, he’s presented us with over 40 minutes of quality jams, featuring cuts from Funkineven, Jam & Lewis and DMX Krew, plus a host of new material. As he told us himself, “this mix is warehouse music – sweaty and dirty. From the time when we went from B-Boys to E-Boys.”
