Or:la debuts on Hotflush with club-ready EP ‘UK Lonely’

The UK producer’s first release spans breaks, garage and dubstep.

Though she’s already garnered recognition with her popular Merseyside party Meine Nacht, and regular DJ sets at Manchester’s The Warehouse Project, Or:la is now debuting her own music next month via Scuba’s Hotflush Recordings.

Four-track EP UK Lonely sees Or:la put her own twist on the past sounds of UK club music – whether it’s the raucous breaks and vocal chops of ‘X & O’, or the jacking four-four of ‘Limbosoup’.

The tile track is a driving dancefloor number that layers stripped back melodies over a skipping 2-step rhythm – demonstrating a striking depth that can be heard across the rest of Or:la’s productions. Stream it below ahead of EP release on November 11, and pre-order it here.
