Acid romance from Russia’s Low Tape.
Having launched almost two years ago, Private Persons has gone from strength to strength, releasing music from artists like Florian Kupfer, Gazatech and Jensen Interceptor & Assembler Code. The label has an extremely strong and consistent aesthetic, offering up the finest in Russian techno talent.
Following a string of releases throughout 2019 from heavyweights like Maelstrom and London Modular Alliance this year, Private Persons continue their fine form with the debut EP of label affiliate and local rising force Low Tape.
The Next Summer Of Love comes after rounds on Nerang Recordings and X-Kalay, and sees Low Tape inspired by the future sounds of Detroit and Chicago. Across six tracks, the youngster builds dusty acid jams that shine brightly and strike a note of romance for carefree ravers.
A summer soundtrack indeed, tuck into Low Tape’s ‘Chicago Blues’ now.
The Next Summer Of Love is out now on Private Persons.
