Hear composer Nadia Struiwigh’s dreamy electronica LP, WHRRu

Hailing from Rotterdam, electronic DJ and producer Nadia Struiwigh sits somewhere between Biosphere and Boards of Canada.

First emerging in 2012 with her Dimension EP on Cinematique, Nadia’s music has spanned across a number of labels, eventually finding home on experimental Sheffield imprint Central Processing Unit with the acclaimed Lenticular album.

A delicate ambient LP that equally explored the worlds of industrial and techno, Nadia’s latest effort WHRRu, sees the Rotterdam artist combine organic and processed sounds, exploring a narrative through synthesized soundscapes and intricate sound design that follows on from her previous work with a heavier leaning towards film-composing and a cinematic experience.

Marking her debut for Denovali Records, the independent Berlin label who’ve previously worked with the likes of Ah! Kosmos and Nanook Of The North, today we are happy to share a full album listen ahead of its release. Hear in full below.

Out now on Denovali Records.
