First Listen: Skeptical – ‘Grub’ (Exit Records)

Exit Records artist Skeptical will release his long-awaited debut album, Enjoy The Tripon June 8, following a number of seminal releases for the label that date back to 2011.

With past efforts for the likes of Dispatch, Renegade, Ingredients, Commercial Suicide, Metalheadz, Soul:r and Samurai, the veteran UK producer has found home on the imprint headed up by dBridge, and is said to have been largely left to work at his own pace in order to find his true voice as a creative.

Spread across fourteen tracks including the sampler, the debut album sees Skeptical “realising his aesthetic; a deceptively effortless sound palette that is used to maximum impact throughout each track.”

Today we premiere album cut ‘Grub’, a fierce and minimalist roller that Skeptical execute with lethal precision and just a few tools from his palette.

Enjoy The Trip is out June 8 on Exit Records.
