Straight off the back of a sublime full length with Ilian Tape, Skee Mask is back. This time he contributes to RFR’s Bavarian Stallions series, which celebrates experimental club music by producers from this region of Germany. The last instalment included the electro weapon ‘Curve K‘ from Stenny.
Skee Mask has been blazing a trail over the past few years, crafting a sound that combines twisted drum programming and cloudy pads, drawing from the influences of breaks and electro. His last album Compro is his most accomplished effort to date, combining his various influences in a mature and succinct way.
Today we premiere ‘Zezbo Version’ – a dusty dnb track with manic drums and hazy atmospheres.
Bavarian Stallion Series – RFR 001 is out on July 19th on RFR Records.
