First Listen: Peter Croce – ‘Spirit Dance’ (Razor-N-Tape)

Brooklyn-based imprint Razor-N-Tape have been building their impressive repertoire of straight-to-the-point dance floor reworks through artists such as Ron Basejam, DJ Vas and Junktion.

For the next movement, the R-N-T crew have recruited Peter Croce, the Rocksteady Disco creator, to dive deep into his cavernous record bag and warmly concoct an assortment of organic Detroit groovers.

Croce is no stranger to the disco revision game, with his own Rocksteady Disco outputting arrangements of soulful deep house and body moving tracks, as well as releases on labels such as In Any Case and On The Corner. Mr. PC is one who fits all the criterias for the diverse Razoz-N-Tape imprint.

Opening up the EP is Croce’s ‘Spirit Dance’ edit, a high-tempo roller of dynamic disco wilderness that’s full to the brim with the intensity desired for the heated dance floor.

Peter Croce Edits is out now on Razor-N-Tape. More info here.
