Emerging around 2011 with a slew of scorching releases on the likes of Shifting Peaks, Hot N Heavy, Anabatic and Synesthesia, Leeds duo Mak & Pasteman are an ongoing force of the UK underground.
Building uncompromising, forward-thinking club weapons that span the worlds of house, techno, acid and beyond, the duo remain high in demand across dance music and rave institutions, with ties to Lobster Boy, Digital Soundboy, Naked Naked and Dixon Avenue Basement Jams.
With a hardware driven approach that sees the pair continue to delve deeper in analog synthesis & texture, their latest effort comes in the form of four-track EP Vector.
Making a debut on Jakwob’s Boom Ting Recordings imprint, today we premiere ‘Reakt’, a gnarly techno roller that follows the same intention as the rest of the EP, dancefloor destruction…
Vector is out February 17 on Boom Ting Recordings.
