Hunter Lombard is a producer making dream-like acid breaks for peak time dancefloors. The New York native cut her teeth in the queer-friendly DIY culture of 2012 Brooklyn, turning new found exposure into club ready fodder.
Still fresh on the block, Lombard made her debut with last year’s Eris EP on Jack Dept, the New York label fronted by Volvox and John Barera – a 5 tracker brimming with charismatic 4/4 energy and fierce electro clout. Lombard’s gig schedule is also gaining momentum; upcoming dates include a Halloween stop-off at Brooklyn club Nowadays as well as a UK debut at Corsica Studios for Avalon Emerson’s 9000 dreams party.
Amongst her busy schedule comes a fresh new release. Slow Foam serves up 3 cuts of typically party starting goodness. As always Lombard shows off her versatility – different moods, speeds and textures all presented in a pristinely engineered package on Karima F’s Schloss. We’ve got an exclusive first listen of track 3, ‘Saturn Return’. A trancey synth melody centres itself around euphoric breaks and healthy kick, making for a cosmic banger full of drama and suspense.
Schloss will release Slow Foam October 12th 2019.
