Another twisted trip inside the dance from Manchester outfit Cong Burn.
Starting off as a cassette label back in 2015, the wonky house and techno experiments of UK imprint Cong Burn are designed to lean toward either side of the dance, with their broken club forms often favoured by the more inventive warm up DJs and post-party goers alike.
Hailed by the likes of Tasker, Lee Gamble, and Ben UFO, their network spreads far and wide, with nests in Salford, Glasgow and Leeds through label regulars like Chekov, Lack, BFTT and Lanark Artefax.
Their fifth 12″ offers another twisted trip inside of the rave, with new sounds coming from Chekov, Doppelate, Carmin and Howes. Our pick of the bunch comes from the Cong Burn big chief himself, as the Manchester producer attempts to send signals into the unknown via fuzzy frequencies and eerie harmonics.
Cong Burn 05 is out July 1.
