Tunisian experimental label Warok Music prep to release the third part of the ‘Ponorogo’ VA series
Founded in 2016, Warok Music was the first Tunisian techno experimental label and has since provided artists with a platform to express their own sounds. Warok signs artists from all scenes and musical upbringings, true to their compromise to push boundaries and offer a diverse selection.
In the ‘Ponorogo’ series, the label continues with their storytelling which steers influence from Indonesian culture. The name referencing to a traditional Indonesian ceremony, ‘Reog Ponorogo’, which tells the story of a mythical battle between the King of Ponorogo and a lion-like creature called Singa Barong. Their forthcoming third edition sees tracks from Clotur & JC Laurent, Blenk & Ruhbarb, Moteka & Shekon and Eyth & Hearthug. A rhythmic and uplifting techno release.
We are delighted to present you with the fourth and last track of the release by label head Eyth & Hearthug, ‘Patchworks’. While Hearthug has released more acid techno tracks, Eyth is a master of dark and hard-hitting techno. This magical track offers broken percussions and captivating flowing energy. Eyth & Hearthug grab us with steady bass and highly danceable techno groove, making it nearly impossible not to follow the rhythm with every ounce of your body.
