First Listen: Dehousy – ‘Break’ (Addison Groove Remix)

Parisian imprint [Re]sources has built a solid network of local producers tastemakers in the four years it’s been running.

With the label’s weekly show on Rinse France and its regular parties across Paris, their string of releases have received strong support from the likes of Laurent Garnier, Toddla T, Branko, Plastician, Sinjin Hawke, Scratcha DVA and Hodge.

Headed up by DJ and producer Tommy Kid, a familiar face to the label is local talent Dehousy. Having released his first EP Unknown Fluids back in 2015, the young producer from Rennes is back with three original tracks oscillating between techno, afrohouse and breaks.

With the EP accompanied by several remixes, today we bring you the rework of leading track from Bristol don Addison Groove. Taking his foot off the brake and swiftly changing gear, Groove exposes the tribal pounce of Dehousy’s original in volatile fashion. Hear below.

Out July 20 on [Re]sources.
