Rising techno force Adiel channels club warfare.
Adiel built a name for herself in Rome’s Goa Club with her hazy off-kilter sets that equally mesmerise and energise. Rising these past few years as a one to watch, her euphoric brand of dub techno has become favoured by a number of heavyweight across the globe, with brands like Berghain, Off Sonar, Dekmantel and Printworks regularly calling upon her talents.
Her rising label, Danza Tribale, has been home to most of her fierce club experiments, yet following her latest Cavallina EP made in collaboration with Donato Dozzy, she now finds herself outside of her own label for the first time with new four-tracker Musicofilia.
Arriving via Kangding Ray’s Ara imprint, Musicofilia sees Adiel truly come into her own, with IDM-tinged melodies and intricate rhythms finding their balance of weight right across the EP. Our pick of the bunch is ‘Vanishing’, where foghorn signals and sharp soundscapes bind to present club warfare in its purest form.
Musicofilia EP is out July 26 on ara.
