Marking our final resident of 2018, Hunee curates every Friday from October 12th through December 14th. With his unrivalled, free-flowing and uplifting track selections, always accompanied by a huge grin, we couldn’t think of anyone we would rather throw 10 parties with.
Dr Rubinstein, perhaps more than most, knows what it takes to get a dancefloor moving. Born in Russia but bred in Israel, her diverse and direct experience makes for highly emotive sets that challenge and thrill from the off. In equal measure, Aurora Halal’s live hardware sets can be as tough as they are playful, and we expect the New Yorker to bring the same levels to XOYO’s Room 1.
London’s most lauded audiophile venue, Brilliant Corners, will be hosting and transforming Room 2 each week, inviting some of the world’s most renowned collectors to select the music.
Opening things up in Room 2 is London-via-Madrid-based digger John Gomez. Among the most respected of his craft, Gomez’ turns from Brazilian boogie to Spanish New Wave, Afrobeat to post-punk will set the tone for a night filled with surprises. Mark Seven, a man who, having released a host of disco-infused house cuts on Beautiful Swimmers’ Ari Goldman’s label, World Building, is sure to bring the unadulterated Chicago heat.
