re:ni

Hessle Audio boss, Pearson Sound, returns to Phonox alongside re:ni.

As seen in this years standout b2b Dekmantel Boiler Room with Darwin, re:ni’s sets join the dots between her dub-wise influences and contemporary bass-driven techno, electro, jungle and breaks. We can’t wait to welcome her to Phonox for her debut.

Doors and DJs start from 9:30pm.

Joy O and Craig Richards return!

We are so excited to bring these two absolute masters of the craft back to Hope Works for a double headliner and a lot more besides. Joy O has has an amazing 2019 with some key new releases such as the Slipping Ep on Hinge Finger and the Joy Overmono release on XL with Overmono…the man is on serious form right now. Craig Richards needs zero introduction. Fabric resident and Houghton mastermind, oh, and generally one of the worlds best selectors….mustn’t forget that eh!

D. Tiffany completely impressed us when she played the last Boiler Room session here so we couldn’t wait to get her back for another main room slot. Her Planet Euphorique label has been consistently on heavy rotation at Hope Works and we know in the record boxes of many of the world’s best selectors.

Our resident Rian Treanor will be treating us all to a 2hr dj set in Mesters where he’ll be delivering another fierce and fast paced rhythmic exploration taking in global sounds and time signatures and mangling them into a new dimension of dancefloor mayhem.

More people tba in Mesters…hold tight…

Forest Drive West, Walton

We’re back at the tiny little Rialto with 2 of our favourite selectors. Both unbelievable DJs & Producers in their own right, we can’t wait to see them have it out in the 150 cap Rialto.

Forest Drive West – [Livity Sound / Whities]

Since 2016, Forest Drive West release catalogue has been growing and growing. With a huge amount of diversity, it’s seen records on labels such as Livity Sound, Rupture, Whities & Neighbourhood. His sound has created a significant impact in not just the UK underground but far beyond, which lead to RA featuring him in their ‘Breaking Through’. Few can match his range of sound from Jungle to atmospheric Techno which all show significant level of intricate sound design & percussive led complex rhythms. Already an accomplished DJ he has toured all over, playing at the biggest venues & fesitvals across the world.
We can’t wait to see what he brings to the little Rialto.

Walton – [Tectonic / Ilian Tape / Hyperdub]

With nearly a decade’s worth of releases, Walton needs little introduction. From labels such as Hyperdub, Kaizen, Keysound, TectonicRecordings and now Ilian Tape, it’s fair to say how instrumental Walton has been and is at the

Move D (4 Hour Set)
Jugin & Pato

Oh yes. It’s Move D at Mick’s Garage.

At Club Mick’s, we like DJs that like playing extended sets, and especially ones that play all kinds of styles and sounds. We also like those that have a, let’s say, a “cosmic” mentality. We just wanna go on journey, OK?

Step forward one of our scene’s true legends: Move D, a man with a lifelong obsession with space. “I was space crazy as a child. When the other kids were riding around in their little cars I’d be building my own spacecraft. I’d put in a small engine, put rubber on the wheels so it made some noise and stand there with a walkie-talkie and my headphones on. It was very techno…”

We can’t wait to give him 4 hours and our juicy sound-system to play with. Club Mick’s residents Jugin & Pato will be on hand to set the standard. Don’t sleep on some limited £5 early bird tickets!
