Church Takeover At Brighton

This Friday Church takes over Life club Brighton for some bassy sea-side antics.

Since its birth in the basement of a church in Camberwell, the night devoted to ‘garage, dubstep and bass’ has hosted the finest in contemporary house and bass music; top dogs Boddika, Dark Sky and XXXY have all performed, as well as newcomer Paleman and garage DJ and producer Checan, a recent addition to Unknown To The Unknown, both playing and releasing a free mix for download.

The free entry night sees Elephant and Castle’s Corsica Studios full to the brim on Thursday nights, with both rooms’ Funkion 1 soundsystems accommodating the grooves.

Friday’s Brighton takeover is set to host the likes of Synkro and Fantastic Mr Fox, as well as Brighton’s own Murder He Wrote and Riccardo Villella and Church residents Seb Wildblood and Apes. Below The Line residents will also be running Room 2 all night.

Life Club is host to Brighton’s regular bass night Aka Aka Roar; this is certain to be a busy night and with tickets at only £4 it’s not to be missed!
