In the latest episode of Fuse’s ‘Crate Diggers’, Mr. Scruff aka Andy Carthy talks about family and musical influences while growing up as he flicks through rarities from his huge home collection with soul, jazz, hip-hop, house and ethnic records from all over the world.

This comes in the weeks leading up to his latest album ‘Friendly Bacteria’ to be released on Ninja Tune this month. In Carthy’s own words it’s “tougher, sparser, less samples, more bass. More vocals and collaborations and shorter tunes.”
