We Want More Exhibition Explores Music Photography

Images of stars and their fans go on show this summer at the Photographer’s Gallery.

Renowned for their thought-provoking shows, the Photographer’s Gallery in London are exhibiting candid images of artists and fans in We Want More.

Exploring the role of photography and image production in music culture today, We Want More delves into the slippery question of ‘What Is Music Photography?’. The show features commissioned works and personal projects from the likes of Dan Wilton, Ryan McGinley, Gareth McConnell, Garage photographer Ewen Spencer, who we featured in our Back In The Day series, and other photographer collaborations with prolific musicians.

In addition, a programme of talks, performances and events will be held throughout the show’s two-month run.

We Want More runs until 20 September at The Photographer’s Gallery, 16-18 Ramillies St, London W1F 7LW. For more information head to the gallery’s website. Check out some of the images below.
