Trouble Vision Turns 5

One of London’s most beloved club nights, Trouble Vision, is to celebrate its 5th birthday with a series of parties.

The night began at Elephant & Castle’s Corsica Studios back in 2008 and has enjoyed widespread popularity, with the likes of Motor City Drum Ensemble, Move D and John Talabot all passing through to play over the last 5 years. The series of parties between September and December will take in four events at Trouble Vision’s spiritual home, Corsica Studios, and one trip down to Bristol for In:Motion. Kicking off on 21st September, Trouble Vision will take control of Corsica’s main room for an intimate party featuring resident Park Ranger alongside Hunnee and Damiano Von Erckert ( who is to make his UK debut at the night ).

Norse cosmic disco kingpin Prins Thomas drops in to headline Corsica’s Room 1 on 11th October, where he will be backed up by the eclectic stylings of DJ Kon and Windy City stalwart DJ Rahann. Headlining Room 2 will be Bristol’s Outboxx who are given support from Glasgow’s Afro-house loving Auntie Flo.

19th October sees the crew taking a trip out west to take over Bristol’s In:Motion, where they will be hosting a showcase from two of the hottest labels of the moment: Hotflush and AUS Music. Lining up for them will be label heads Scuba and Will Saul, as well as Dusky, George Fitzgerald, Midland and South London Ordnance. Blistering live techno on the night comes courtesy of Recondite and Dense & Pika.

John Talabot’s Hivern Discs are the focus of a showcase on 23rd November, with the Barcelona native set to headline alongside a live performance from frequent collaborator Pional. Ghostly‘s Fort Romeau support, whilst Kresy ( also of Barcelona ) makes his UK debut.

Finally the series will culminate in one of Trouble Vision’s legendary NYE parties, with this year’s edition featuring none other than Theo Parrish as headliner. Parrish will drop an extended 5 hour set that will no doubt span genres in his inimitable style, with more than capable support being provided by Maurice Fulton, who plays the midnight set, Anthony Naples and Mr.Beatnick.

Advance tickets for all 5 events are available here.
