Trim To Release ‘I Am’ Via Butterz

Former Roll Deep MC, Trim, returns next month with a new EP entitled ‘I Am’.

Released on August 15, it’s the second vocal track to be released on Elijah and Skilliam’s Butterz imprint (the first being the recent ‘Boo You’ from grime MC P Money).

One of the finest lyricists in grime, Trim’s trademark left-of-centre bars are all over ‘I Am’, originally the ‘Skipping Rope’ instrumental from Wolverhampton producer TRC. Backed with a remix from Keysound and Hyperdub bass crew LV, and with DJ’s such as Logan Sama, Sinden and Mistajam already keeping the track in heavy rotation, this is bound to be another successful release for the growing label.
