Trevino Set To Release On Apple Pips

Following his storming EP on Revolve:r, Trevino is set to drop an new 12″ on Apple Pips.

Marcus Intalex can do no wrong under his Trevino guise. From 3024 Recordings to his own Revolve:r label and [Naked Lunch], through to The Nothing Special – every release is pure dancefloor rocket fuel. The man has a deft touch when it comes to fusing elements of acid, techno and electro into his own concoction of bastardised bass-music.

Following on from the ‘Discovery’ EP, he is set to release ‘Indulge/Under Surveillance‘ on Appleblim’s Apple Pips label on the 17th September. ‘Under Surveillance’, is an “almost lost classic, its dystopian sci-fi stepping rhythm combining with claustrophobic synths spraying all over the gaff!” This one harking back to those raw, primal elements of early dubstep and sound-system culture. ‘Indulge’ creeps in with “undulating melodic stabs seem to weave together for an age before hydraulic bursts of wavejumper bass start to fill the gaps.”
