Tiger Beer’s Hidden Depths series returns with their last outing of 2012.
Following on from a series of top-drawer soirees with Ninja Tune/Brainfeeder, Hyperdub, Hospital Records and Numbers, the exploratory series presents an intimate affair to celebrate the heritage and influences of this seminal brand.
For the best part of two decades, Rinse FM has been an incubator for underground talent, pioneering artists and world-moving music. It’s safe to say the station has traveled an incredible distance since it’s humble beginnings on various rooftops and bedrooms of East London, developing into a successful record label, FM licensed radio station and leading youth brand. Rinse are reposnsible for giving the likes of Wiley, Dizzee Rascal, Skream and Benga a platform on which to build the incredible careers they possess today.
Taking “things back to ’94, jungle legend, breakbeat garage don, innovator and sometime pop producer Zinc will headline the intimate show, providing fans with an insight into almost two decades of UK bass culture.” Support is provided my grimes lyrical pilgrim Trim, garage/funky staple Brackles, rising production talent Faze Miyake and and ‘dubbage’ man dj Tippa.
