The highly anticpated series launches with Karenn track, a B-side from The Analogue Cops, and a host of parties this weekend.
The Green Series is a new collaborative project between Bleep.com, GiveUpArt and photographer Shaun Bloodworth. In their words the project will consist of “a series of limited edition vinyl releases, exploring techno music, coming soon to your local independent record store…”
We can now reveal that the debut release will come from UK techno spearheads, Karenn, and from Berlin equivalents The Analogue Cops. Blawan & Pariah‘s contribution ‘Studio 3’ is dark, acid-tinged club cut that’s become a staple in the Yorkshireman’s sets of late. The Analogue Cops‘ B-side is comparatively tame; it blends airy synths with pummeling drums into an effective 4×4.
‘Studio 3’ / ‘OCPLX1’ will be released in November but you can listen to the release via the player below.
On top of this, tonight sees a live broadcasting and launch party for the series on Boiler Room Berlin. This Friday, there will be a launch party in East London. On Saturday, there will be another party in Paris.
