Coming up on October 4th at Shoreditch’s Village Underground, Soundcrash have announced a night featuring The Bug supported by Congo Natty and Channel One.
After playing at KOKO for Soundcrash last June, Kevin ‘The Bug’ Martin turns out for them once again, joined by spitters Flowdan and Daddy Freddy. The Ninja Tune man promises to bring his usual dark industrial dancehall to a system that will be lent extra bass weight for the night especially – perfect news for those excited by the August release of the ‘Filthy’ EP, which will feature Danny Brown, Kiki Hitomi, Flowdan and Daddy Freddy.
Adding to the vibes will be original junglist Congo Natty, who is coming off the back of his fantastic recent ‘Jungle Revolution’ album on Big Dada. His passionate mix of righteous anger, reggae hooks and pure energy have long been a firm crowd favourite. He and The Bug will be lining up alongside Carnival staples Channel One, who will be supplying roots reggae of the highest quality. The soundsystem, comprised of Jah T and Mikey Dread, has won a rep as one of the best in the world during its 30 years and recently has come up trumps in Red Bull’s Culture Clash competition against other top outfits.
Tickets for the night on October 4th can be bought here.
