Tempa’s Parris & Glacial Sound To Headline New London Club Night

This Friday sees Parris and Glacial Sound inaugurate Converge, a brand new club event created to showcase the freshest strains of moody, sub-driven 130, Grime and Dubstep.

Acetate dubplate enthusiast Parris has had a breakthrough 2014, adding to his fearsome DJ reputation with a slew of productions supported by the Keysound crew, a pair of collaborations with Wen landing on the legendary Tempa imprint and his Soundman Chronicles label featuring the likes of Facta, Epoch and Gantz. Parris is joined by another name making strong movements, Glacial Sound and his eponymous label that has played its part in the exciting momentum instrumental Grime has generated this year, releasing deadly records from Murlo and Rabit. Also on the bill is Bristolian Dubstep stalwart Forsaken who has released on Punch Drunk and is the former boss of the now defunct Soul Motive Records

Held in Clapham at Arch 635, the event looks to be an exciting mix of new emergent sounds and classic bass-heavy beats, hopefully laying foundation for a series of further nights this year. Supporting sets include Lye Form b2b Wolf, Background and residents Badger and Riddles – check the Facebook event here
