Swindle is set to take over Fire, Vauxhall, in celebration of his highly anticipated new album.
With a string of successful releases on Butterz, Deep Medi and Planet Mu, Swindle has honed his reputation as the grime-fusion guru, brewing up his own hybrid with elements of jazz and funk.
On Friday 14th June, he is headlining the launch party of his latest album entitled ‘Long Live The Jazz’, performing the debut live set with his new band. The performance will present a diverse range of the producer’s own musical influences, woven in with classic grime and dubstep sounds in addition to showcasing material from the new album.
Swindle will be joined by Deep Medi labelmates Quest & Silkie, as well as dubstep expert Von D, who is to debut the crowd with some of his new material. Butterz regulars Elijah & Skilliam and Terror Danjah are to complete the crew, and with newcomers such as Wen and Moony over in the Licked Beats takeover in room 2, the night looks set to be a real winner for the grime heads.
