Sweatson Klank delivers another taste of forthcoming album ‘You, Me, Temporary’ on Project Mooncircle.
To those unfamiliar Sweatson Klank is Los Angeles producer Tom Wilson aka Take, a heavily influential fixture in the West Coast beats fraternity since its early incarnation. Now three albums deep, Wilson is readying ‘You, Me, Temporary’ for release April 2nd on Robert Koch’s Project Mooncircle imprint, following 2012’s ‘Elevate Me’ EP.
The triple-LP, 17-track album is described as ‘a modern day love story’, and looks set to straddle the realms of hip hop, futuristic RnB and electronica. The infectious single ‘Fuck and Fight’ provided the first taste of the release last month, and following on a slightly more subtle flex is ‘Waiting’ featuring Vikter Duplaix. Here sparse percussion, melodic synths and Duplaix’s soulful tones make for a very smooth operation. Stream ‘Waiting’ or check snippets of the full album below. You can pre-order the 3-LP vinyl release here and the digital version here.
