Stones Throw Release Custom Vinyl Crates

Peanut Butter Wolf’s imprint is providing a new way to store your 45s.

7″s are notoriously tricky to store, often damaged by poor storage amongst 12″s in too-big Expedit or modular shelving. Fortunately, Stones Throw Records have released an ingenious new storage method. Announced last year, the West Coast label have readied their custom 7″ crates, which are available to purchase now.

Made in the USA, the crates are laser-cut 6-ply alder wood, finished with two polished metal Stones Throw emblems on either end. With the ability of storing up to eighty 7″ records, and a slick interlocking design courtesy of audio equipment customiser Jesse Dean, the crates are an ideal storage solution for the home or travel.

Check the images of the crates below, and order yours on the Stones Throw website. Read our interview with label boss Peanut Butter Wolf.
