Stamp The Wax have teamed up with East London’s Dance Tunnel for a new four-part concept series which will launch Friday, April 8.
The idea behind Infusions is to invite DJ’s to dig deep into their record collection and base their performance around a particular country, genre or era. The choice is theirs and could be a sound that has influenced their own, or a far-off culture they feel deserves more attention.
Events will run from April to September 2016 and first up will be Soichi Terada (Live), Daniel Wang and John Gomez exploring the infusion of the Far East. Line ups for the remaining 3 shows are yet to be revealed but will feature the likes of Antal, Public Possession label heads Marvin & Valentino, Johnny Rock and Mehmet Aslan. They’ll be joined throughout by Infusion residents Aaron Levitt, Joshua Brill, Harri Pepper, Robin Sure and Tom Rio.
The confirmed dates are: Saturday, May 21st, Saturday, August 13th and Friday, September 16th.
Tickets for the first event can be purchased over at Resident Advisor.
