Spokes returns to Coyote Records with the ‘Flight’ EP

The follow-up to last year’s Green Eyes

Fresh from last month’s glacial anthem ‘Ascend‘ from Last Japan and AJ Tracey, increasingly vital London label Coyote Records have announced Flight, a new four-track EP from Spokes. The New York-based producer most recently contributed ‘Tragedy In The Jasmine Garden‘ to Boxed’s first 12” in December, having dropped his debut on Coyote earlier in 2015 with Green Eyes.

Flight – out August 5 – finds Spokes dishing out coarse grime experiments on ‘Mercurial’ and soul-stirring synth passages on ‘Failed State’ – which features the plaintive pitched-up vocals of NYC singer-songwriter Anna Folwell. A remix of the title track comes courtesy of new Miami-based Coyote Records signee, Marks, who crafts lo-fi, horror-score trap (watch out for a full EP on the label early next year).
